01. The Flann Group Inc.

I’ve been working with Drew Flann since 2008, when I created his first website for Flann Fence & Deck. Since then, I’ve updated his site quite a few times, moving from hand-coded HTML and CSS into WordPress and Elementor now. Over the years, Drew’s success enabled him to launch a second company, Flann Contracting. He placed both companies under their new parent company, The Flann Group, and asked KO to build a simple website for that new name.

Drew had a really nice van and trailer wrap created (seen below), then he sent me the that artwork, requesting it to be used to create the new site for The Flann Group. The objective of this new site was to introduce the two companies (Flann Fence & Deck, and Flann Contracting), provide links to them, and accepting inquiries.

Note that KO did not create the vehicle graphics.

02. Flann Fence & Deck

As previously mentioned, this website was the first project that Drew Flann and I worked on together, and over the years we’ve updated the site multiple times. For this latest update, seen here, Drew wanted to bring the design from his vehicle wrap and parent site together, for visual continuity. He provided hundreds of new photos to update the project galleries and before/after galleries.

It was quite a large project in terms of photographic content to be organized. We had the previous version set up with labels for each photo so that his clients and prospects could refer to them when discussing their own plans with Drew. This is important because not everyone has the vocabulary to explain the fine details of fence and deck construction.

03. Flann Contracting

As you probably already guessed, Drew wanted the visual continuity from his vehicle wraps and two other websites to carry forward into the update to Flann Contracting. We contrasted the near black design from the Flann Fence & Deck site with a brighter look for the Flann Contracting site. This site operates the same way, showing named and numbered project galleries, eye-opening before/after galleries, and the important points to consider before beginning a reno project.

The photography on both sites really delivers, showcasing the incredible level of detail Drew and his team are able to deliver on every project. You might think I’m saying that because he’s my client, and that would be wise of me, however I am honestly very impressed with his work. Top shelf craftsmanship.
